CollegeView — A searchable database of colleges intended to help students find the right college for their needs. Users can specify a search for colleges with programs for students with learning disabilities, and many other parameters. The site also includes information on college applications, choosing a career, and financial aid.
Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) — CEC’s home page provides information to teachers and other service providers about special education issues for students with disabilities, and/or the gifted.

Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund (DREDF) — Legal support and advocacy to bring about additional changes and affect policies which prevent people with disabilities from participating in the mainstream.

Learning Ally — Formerly Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic (RFB). National nonprofit service organization which loans recorded and computerized books at a fee to eligible persons with visual, physical, or specific learning disabilities that substantially limit reading. This site provides details on their services, technology updates, and more.
Learning Disabilities Association of America (LDA) — A national nonprofit organization devoted to advancing the education & general welfare of persons with learning disabilities. LDA’s Online includes bulletins, fact sheets & other resources, information about many publications available for purchase, links to state chapters.
National Adult Literacy & Learning disability Center — This organization is devoted to promoting awareness about the relationship between adult literacy and learning disabilities. The website provides information for literacy practitioners.

National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) — International nonprofit membership association of school psychologists which provides a nationally recognized certification system and professional information.
National Attention Deficit Disorder Association — This nonprofit organization’s website focuses on information related to helping adults with attention deficit disorder learn successfully live with their ADD.
National Center for Learning Disabilities, Inc. (NCLD) — National, nonprofit organization, which raises public awareness, advocates for legislation and services for students with disabilities, and provides information, resources, and programs.
National Information Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities — NICHCY is a national information and referral center that provides information on disabilities and disability-related issues for families, educators, and other professionals. Their special focus is children and youth (birth to age 22).
